These are just a few tips in utilizing Pure Essential Oils around the home that may restore harmony of body and mind.


For great smelling towels, sheets
or clothes, place a few drops of your favorite essential oil onto a
piece of terry cloth and use in your dryer while drying. Or add 7
drops of essential oil to liquid fabric softener or water and add at
the rinse cycle.

Add a few drops of essential oil to water in a spray bottle to use as
air freshener. Avoid spraying on furniture.

Add a few drops of essential oil to a burning candle into the hot melted wax for a
scented candle.

To ease a headache pain rub a drop of Lavender or Rosemary on temples or back of your neck.

Add essential oil on heat vent dust protectors to fill your
room with a wonderful fragrance every time the heat turns on.

To get rid of warts apply one drop of Lemon essential oil on the wart. Apply daily until the wart is gone.

Studying for exam - inhale Rosemary to promote alertness and stimulate memory.

Combat flu and cold - add 8-10 drops of Eucalyptus oil in bath to protect the body. Also, when feeling the first sign of a flu or cold place few drops of Eucalyptus oil on a cotton ball and place by bed. During the cold when your throat hurts add 6 drops of Eucalyptus oil to one tablespoon of carrier oil and rub on chest and neck. 

Add 2 drops of Geranium oil to your facial moisturizer for
radiant and glowing skin.

Infuse your home with your favorite scent as you are
vacuuming - place a few drops of your favorite essential oil on a cotton ball and place it in your vacuum cleaner bag. Geranium helps with
dog odor.

Had a great time the night before? - Essential oils of
Cedarwood, Grapefruit, Lavender, Fennel, Rosemary and Lemon are great for a
hangover. Make a blend of 1 drop each of the oils and 3 drops of Lavender to one tablespoon of carrier oil and use in bath. Or combine all oils in a potpourri burner.

To promote hair growth and thickness add 2 drops of Rosemary, Chamomile, Lemon, Grapefruit, or Cedarwood oil on your brush before brushing your hair. Rosemary is usually used for dark hair and Chamomile for fair. Lemon, Grapefruit and Cedarwood stimulate the circulation and balance the body's secretions, thereby reducing dandruff.
NOTE: Avoid using Rosemary if you are pregnant.

Essential Oils of Cypress, Cedarwood and
Frankincense make a great
firewood oils. Add 3 - 5 drops of oil or blend of oils to fire logs,
let the oil soak in before putting log on fire.

Need help at the office - Lavender and Grapefruit blend is good for the office. This blend creates a
calm, tranquil atmosphere with the Grapefruit stimulating the senses and clears up stale air.

Can't sleep - place 2 - 4 drops of Chamomile, Lavender,
Neroli, or Marjoram oil on your pillow or cotton ball and enjoy a
restful sleep.

Hot Flushes due to Menopause - by
simply dabbing Lavender oil on your forehead, temples, nape of neck
and wrists will stop the hot flush in its tracks. 


Car Air Freshener - dab a few drops of your favorite essential oil
on cotton puff and place in the car. When the interior of the car
warms up the fragrance is released from the cotton puff.
